Flower power

Post-Christmas sales are upon us, and I've been browsing through various different sites for the best deals and bargains.
Now, I'm the first to admit I can be a bit of a snob when it comes to charity shops; I'm just not a fan of wearing clothes that were once someone else's. I know an ethical and pro-recycling girl shouldn't admit to this, but I'm not going to lie, it's just not for me.
However, Oxfam's ethical range has some stunning jewellery on sale at the moment, most of which is 50% off or more. It's all made from recycled items, or other bits of jewellery, or has been sourced from fair trade initiative groups in developing regions.

This bracelet is my new crush...

It's cute, has a matching necklace, and will be on trend come spring florals. Plus, you can feel great knowing that per pound you spend in Oxfam, 83p goes directly to development and emergency work, 10p goes to support and governance, and 7p is invested in generating future income.
Give this, and the rest of their stock, a look either in store or by following the link below...

Happy Shopping!

The first

So, the point of this blog....

  - to show how easy it is to make a difference in the world, without breaking the bank, or your back.
  - to introduce new and interesting products, ideas, campaigns and people.
  - to give me somewhere to procrastinate further, and give me an excuse for not getting a 1st in my degree!
I hope you enjoy it, and feel free to share, show, tweet, chirp, poke and prod it as much as you like :)
